The silence of the Lab

Labs are very oral creatures -- a trait I've taken to the extreme. If given the chance, I'll munch on tanbark, rocks, the wood pile, just about anything I can get my teeth into. Then, the barfing starts. (I try to do that outside the house...) To avoid this charade, sometimes Dad sends me outside to "go potty" (another wierd human term) fully equipped with protective body armor.

Great impression, Smiley. I need to wear a 'Halty', kinda like a 'Gentle Lead' when I take my human for a walk. It is needed because my oral fixation is sometimes itty, bitty dogs. I really don't think I would munch one but I am very curious about those little things. So I play it safe and try to just 'step back', with lots of help from my leash tender.

I sometimes barf after I eat grass. My humans eat a lot of salad but they don't barf. Strange...

My humans once knew a lab that liked to eat rocks. He had several surgeries to clean out his tummy. Be careful!
